Bosses

Boss prep that keeps the mystery intact

A boss column should help stuck players understand patterns, builds, and survival choices before it reveals every late-game detail.

How to read a boss fight

The first goal is not to win immediately. Spend the opening attempt learning what the boss does when you stand close, when you back away, and when you attack after a miss. Once the rhythm is visible, the fight becomes a series of smaller choices.

  • Watch the first unsafe attack before trying to punish it.
  • Keep your route back to the arena simple and repeatable.
  • Take one safe hit window instead of gambling for a combo.
  • Reset your position after damage so panic does not chain.
  • Change your build only after you know which pattern is the problem.

Arena awareness

Win the space before chasing damage

Most failed attempts start with bad position. If you keep drifting into a wall, corner, or hazard, spend one attempt practicing movement only. A boss is much easier once you know where you want Mina to stand after each attack.

Difficulty

Why a fight feels unfair

A fight often feels unfair when you are reacting late. Name the attack, watch its tell, and decide your response before you start another full damage attempt.

Builds

Safe versus aggressive setups

Safer setups help you observe longer. Aggressive setups are better once the timing is familiar. Swap styles based on the mistake you are making, not because one answer is universal.
